Seest thou not that We have set the devils on the disbelievers to confound them with confusion? 83 So make no haste against them, for We but count out to them a (limited) number (of days). 84 The Day will surely come when We shall gather the God-fearing like [honoured] guests before the Compassionate God 85 and We shall drive the sinful like a thirsty herd into Hell. 86 None shall have the power of intercession, but such a one as has received permission (or promise) from (Allah) Most Gracious. 87 They say: "God has begotten a son." 88 Indeed, [by this assertion] you have brought forth something monstrous, 89 the heavens might well-nigh burst thereat, and the earth break asunder, and the mountains fall down in pieces, 90 because they ascribe a son to the Gracious One. 91 When it does not behove the Merciful to have a son. 92 there is none in the heavens or on the earth but shall return to the Merciful in utter submission, 93 He has enumerated them and counted them a [full] counting. 94 And each one of them will come unto Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone. 95 Verily those who believe and do righteous works - anon the Compassionate shall appoint for them affection. 96 So, [O Muhammad], We have only made Qur'an easy in the Arabic language that you may give good tidings thereby to the righteous and warn thereby a hostile people. 97 And how many a generation have We destroyed before them! Do you see any one of them or hear a sound of them? 98
