Do you not see that We have set the devils against the infidels to rouse and instigate them? 83 So, do not be hasty with them. We are counting their number (of days). 84 The Day We shall gather the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2) unto the Most Beneficent (Allah), like a delegate (presented before a king for honour). 85 and the criminals will be driven and thrown into hell, 86 They will have no power of intercession, save him who hath made a covenant with his Lord. 87 As it is, some assert, "The Most Gracious has taken unto Himself a son 88 You have indeed brought an extremely grave speech! 89 The heavens may almost be rent thereat, and the earth cleave asunder, and the mountains fall down in pieces, 90 For they have attributed a son to Ar-Rahman, 91 It does not befit the Most Compassionate Lord that He should take a son. 92 There is no one in the heavens and earth but that he comes to the Most Merciful as a servant. 93 Verily, He knows each one of them, and has counted them a full counting. 94 And each one of them will come before Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone. 95 To the righteously striving believers God will grant love. 96 So We have made it easy in thine tongue in order that thou mayest thereby give glad tidings unto the Godfearing and warn thereby a people contentious. 97 And how many a generation We destroyed before them! Dost thou perceive so much as one of them, or hear of them a whisper? 98
