T H (Taa Haa)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Ta-Ha.* (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) (Alphabets of the Arabic language – Allah and to whomever He reveals know their precise meanings.) 1 We have not sent down the Quran unto you (O Muhammad SAW) to cause you distress, 2 but only as a reminder to him who tears, 3 A revelation from Him Who created the earth and the heavens on high. 4 the All Merciful settled on the throne. 5 all that is in the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, and all that is underneath the soil. 6 And if you utter the saying aloud, then surely He knows the secret, and what is yet more hidden. 7 Allah, there is no god except He. To Him belong the most Beautiful Names. 8 Hath there come unto thee the story of Moses? 9 When he saw a fire, he said to his family: "Wait! Verily, I have seen a fire, perhaps I can bring you some burning brand therefrom, or find some guidance at the fire." 10 When he approached it, a voice called out: 11 Verily I am your Lord! Take off your shoes. You are in the sacred valley, Tuwa! 12 And I have chosen you, so listen to what is revealed [to you]. 13 I am God, and there is no god but I, so serve Me, and observe acts of prayer to remember Me. 14 The Hour is coming. I almost conceal it, so that every soul will be recompensed for its labors. 15 Let him who does not believe in it and follows his lust not turn your thought away from it, lest you are ruined. 16 And what is in your right hand, O Moses?" 17 He said, “This is my staff; I support myself on it, and I knock down leaves for my sheep with it, and there are other uses for me in it.” 18 God said, "Moses, cast it down." 19 So he threw it down, and lo, it became a running serpent. 20 Allah said: take hold of it, and fear not; We shall restore it to its former state. 21 “And put your hand inside your armpit – it will come out shining white, not due to any illness – one more sign.” 22 But We shall show you some of Our greatest signs. 23 Go to the Pharaoh as he has become exceedingly rebellious." 24
