In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ TA HA. 1 We did not reveal the Qur'an to you to cause you distress; 2 Nay, it is a reminder to him who fears: 3 a revelation from Him who created the earth and the high heavens; 4 The Most Gracious Who, befitting His Majesty, took to the Throne (of control). 5 Unto Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on earth, as well as all that is between them and all that is beneath the sod. 6 Whether or not you express (your thoughts) in words, God certainly knows all unspoken thoughts and all that is even more difficult to find. 7 Allah - there is no deity except Him. To Him belong the best names. 8 Have you heard the story of Moses? 9 When he saw a fire and said to his family: "Hold on! I have just perceived a fire; perhaps I will bring a brand from it for you, or I will find some guidance at the fire about the way to follow." 10 And when he came to it, he was called, "O Moses, 11 Verily I am your Lord! Take off your shoes. You are in the sacred valley, Tuwa! 12 and I have chosen thee [to be My apostle]: listen, then, to what is being revealed [unto thee]. 13 "Verily, I - I alone - am God; there is no deity save Me. Hence, worship Me alone, and be constant in prayer, so as to remember Me! 14 Verily the Hour (of the great change) is about to come. I keep it secret that every soul may be rewarded for its endeavour. 15 So let not him who believeth not therein and followeth his own desire keep thee away therefrom lest thou perish. 16 And what is this in your right hand, O Musa! 17 He said, “This is my staff; I support myself on it, and I knock down leaves for my sheep with it, and there are other uses for me in it.” 18 (Allah) said: "Cast it down, O Musa (Moses)!" 19 and he cast it down, and behold it was a serpent sliding. 20 He said, “Pick it up and do not fear; We shall restore it to its former state.” 21 Now, put your hand under your armpit. It shall come out white, without evil, a second sign. 22 That We may show you [some] of Our greater signs. 23 Go thou unto Fir'awn; verily he hath waxen exorbitant. 24

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
