In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Ta-Ha. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.] 1 We have not Sent down on thee the Qur'an that thou shouldst be distressed. 2 only as reminder for those who have fear (of disobeying God). 3 It is a sending down from Him who has created the earth, and the high heavens, 4 The Beneficent One, Who is established on the Throne. 5 To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth, and whatever lies in between them, and all that lies under the ground. 6 And if thou speakest the word aloud, then verily He knoweth the secret and the most hidden. 7 God - there is no deity save Him; His [alone] are the attributes of perfection! 8 Has the story of Moses reached you? 9 When he saw the fire, he said to his family, "Wait here for I can see a fire. Perhaps I shall bring you a burning torch or find a way to some fire". 10 Then when he was come thereto, he was cried unto. O Musa! 11 I am your Lord. Take off your shoes, for you are in Towa, the sacred valley. 12 And I! I have chosen thee, hearken thou then to that which shall be revealed. 13 Verily I am God; there is no god but I; therefore serve Me, and perform the prayer of My remembrance. 14 Although it is certain that the Day of Judgment will come, I prefer to keep it almost a secret so that every soul will receive the recompense for what it has done (on its own). 15 Let none bar thee from it, that believes not in it but follows after his own caprice, or thou wilt perish. 16 "Now, what is this in thy right hand, O Moses?" 17 He said: "This is my stick, whereon I lean, and wherewith I beat down branches for my sheep, and wherein I find other uses." 18 Allah said: cast it down, O Musa! 19 So he threw it down, and lo, it became a running serpent. 20 He said, “Pick it up and do not fear; We shall restore it to its former state.” 21 Now, put your hand under your armpit. It shall come out white, without evil, a second sign. 22 "That We may show you (some) of Our Greater Signs. 23 Go thou unto Fir'awn; verily he hath waxen exorbitant. 24

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
