T H (Taa Haa)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ TaHa. 1 We have not sent down the Koran to you for you to be tired, 2 Nay, it is a reminder to him who fears: 3 A revelation from Him who created the earth and the high ascending skies, 4 the Merciful willed to the Throne. 5 To Him belongs what is in the heavens and what is on the earth and what is between them and what is under the soil. 6 And if you utter the saying aloud, then surely He knows the secret, and what is yet more hidden. 7 Allah-- there is no god but He; His are the very best names. 8 And did the news of Moosa reach you? 9 When he saw a fire, and said to his family, 'Tarry you here; I observe a fire. Perhaps I shall bring you a brand from it, or I shall find at the fire guidance.' 10 And when he came to it, he was called, "O Moses, 11 "Verily! I am your Lord! So take off your shoes, you are in the sacred valley, Tuwa. 12 And I have chosen you, so listen to what is revealed [to you]. 13 Lo! I, even I, am Allah, There is no Allah save Me. So serve Me and establish worship for My remembrance. 14 "Verily, the Hour is coming and My Will is to keep it hidden that every person may be rewarded for that which he strives. 15 Therefore let not him who believes not in it and follows his low desires turn you away from it so that you should perish; 16 What is that in your right hand, Moses' 17 He said, “This is my staff; I support myself on it, and I knock down leaves for my sheep with it, and there are other uses for me in it.” 18 God said, "Moses, cast it down." 19 So he cast it down, and lo! it was a serpent, gliding. 20 God said, "Take hold of it, and have no fear: We shall return it to its former state. 21 And thrust thy hand within thine armpit, it will come forth white without hurt. (That will be) another token. 22 This We have done to show you some of Our greater miracles. 23 Go to the Pharaoh; he has become a rebel." 24
