T H (Taa Haa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Ta Ha 1 We have not sent down the Koran to you for you to be tired, 2 but only as an exhortation for him who fears God; 3 A revelation from He who created the earth and highest heavens, 4 The Compassionate on the Throne is established. 5 To Him belongs what is in the heavens and what is on the earth and what is between them and what is under the soil. 6 And if you utter the saying aloud, then surely He knows the secret, and what is yet more hidden. 7 Allah – there is no worship except for Him; His only are the best names. 8 And did the news of Moosa reach you? 9 When he saw a fire and said to his family: "Hold on! I have just perceived a fire; perhaps I will bring a brand from it for you, or I will find some guidance at the fire about the way to follow." 10 Then when he was come thereto, he was cried unto. O Musa! 11 Surely I am your Lord, therefore put off your shoes; surely you are in the sacred valley, Tuwa, 12 I have chosen you as My Messengers. Listen to the revelation. 13 "Verily, I am Allah: There is no god but I: So serve thou Me (only), and establish regular prayer for celebrating My praise. 14 “The Last Day will surely come – it was close that I hide it from all – in order that every soul may get the reward of its effort.” (He revealed it to His Prophets, so that people may fear and get ready. The exact time is not revealed to the people.) 15 So do not let those who do not believe in it and follow their vain desires, turn you away from it. 16 And what is that in thy right hand, O Musa! 17 He said, “This is my staff; I support myself on it, and I knock down leaves for my sheep with it, and there are other uses for me in it.” 18 "Throw it down, O Moses," said (the Voice). 19 He threw it, and behold! It was a snake, active in motion. 20 Allah said:"Grasp it, and fear not, We shall return it to its former state, 21 Now, put your hand under your armpit. It shall come out white, without evil, a second sign. 22 That We may show thee (some) of Our greater portents, 23 "[And now] go thou unto Pharaoh: for, verily, he has transgressed all bounds of equity. 24
