T H (Taa Haa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Ta Ha 1 We have not sent down the Quran unto you (O Muhammad SAW) to cause you distress, 2 Nay, it is a reminder to him who fears: 3 A revelation from Him Who created the earth and the high heavens. 4 the Merciful willed to the Throne. 5 Whatever is in the heavens and the earth and in between them, belongs to Him, as whatever lies under the earth. 6 And if thou speakest aloud, then lo! He knoweth the secret (thought) and (that which is yet) more hidden. 7 God is the only Lord and to Him belong all the exalted Names. 8 Hast thou received the story of Moses? 9 Lo! he saw a fire [in the desert]; and so he said to his family: "Wait here! Behold, I perceive a fire [far away]: perhaps I can bring you a brand there from, or find at the fire some guidance." 10 When he came to it, a voice called out: "Moses! 11 Verily, I am thy Sustainer! Take off, then, thy sandals! Behold, thou art in the twice hallowed valley, 12 I have chosen you as My Messengers. Listen to the revelation. 13 Lo! I, even I, am Allah, There is no Allah save Me. So serve Me and establish worship for My remembrance. 14 Verily the Hour is coming - I wish to conceal it - in order that every one may be requited according to that which he hath endeavoured. 15 Therefor, let not him turn thee aside from (the thought of) it who believeth not therein but followeth his own desire, lest thou perish. 16 "And what is that in the right hand, O Moses?" 17 He replied, "It is my staff. I lean on it, and with it, I beat down the leaves for my flock; I also have other uses for it." 18 (Allah) said: "Cast it down, O Musa (Moses)!" 19 So he cast it down, and thereupon it turned into a sliding serpent. 20 (Allah) said, "Seize it, and fear not: We shall return it at once to its former condition".. 21 And face what is to come with patience, your hand will not be tarnished with blame: Another sign 22 That We may shew thee of Our Signs the greatest. 23 Go to Pharaoh; he has waxed insolent.' 24
