T H (Taa Haa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta-Ha. 1 We have not sent down the Koran upon thee for thee to be unprosperous, 2 But only as an admonition unto him who feareth. 3 A revelation from Him Who created the earth and the high heavens, 4 The Most Beneficent (Allah) Istawa (rose over) the (Mighty) Throne (in a manner that suits His Majesty). 5 His is whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever on the earth and whatsoever is in between and whatsoever is underneath the earth. 6 And if thou speakest aloud, then lo! He knoweth the secret (thought) and (that which is yet) more hidden. 7 Allah! La ilahla illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He)! To Him belong the Best Names. 8 And has there come to you the story of Musa (Moses)? 9 When he saw a fire, and said to his family, 'Tarry you here; I observe a fire. Perhaps I shall bring you a brand from it, or I shall find at the fire guidance.' 10 When he came to it, a voice cried, 'Moses, 11 Verily, I am thy Sustainer! Take off, then, thy sandals! Behold, thou art in the twice hallowed valley, 12 I have chosen you as My Messengers. Listen to the revelation. 13 Lo! I, even I, am Allah, There is no Allah save Me. So serve Me and establish worship for My remembrance. 14 "Verily the Hour is coming - My design is to keep it hidden - for every soul to receive its reward by the measure of its Endeavour. 15 "Therefore let not such as believe not therein but follow their own lusts, divert thee therefrom, lest thou perish!".. 16 "Now, what is this in thy right hand, O Moses?" 17 He said: This is my staff whereon I lean, and wherewith I bear down branches for my sheep, and wherein I find other uses. 18 (Allah) said, "Throw it, O Moses!" 19 So he threw it down, and all of a sudden, it turned into a fast-moving serpent. 20 [Allah] said, "Seize it and fear not; We will return it to its former condition. 21 "And press your (right) hand to your (left) side, it will come forth white (and shining), without any disease as another sign, 22 So We would show thee some of Our greatest signs. 23 “Go to Firaun, he has rebelled.” 24
