He said: O my Lord! Expand my breast for me, 25 'and do Thou ease for me my task. 26 And loose the knot from my tongue, 27 that they may understand my speech. 28 And give me as assistant from my family 29 Harun, my brother. 30 by him confirm my strength, 31 and let him share my task, 32 “In order that we may profusely proclaim Your Purity.” 33 and may remember You much. 34 Surely You know us well." 35 God said, "You have been granted your request, Moses." 36 It is the second time that We have bestowed upon you Our favor. 37 "When We inspired your mother with that which We inspired. 38 "Saying: 'Put him (the child) into the Tabut (a box or a case or a chest) and put it into the river (Nile), then the river shall cast it up on the bank, and there, an enemy of Mine and an enemy of his shall take him.' And I endued you with love from Me, in order that you may be brought up under My Eye, 39 Recall when your sister walked along and said, "Shall I guide you to one who will take care of him?" Thus We returned you to your mother, so that her eyes might be cooled and that she might not grieve. And you killed a man and We delivered you from sorrow. We tested you with various trials. You stayed for a number of years among the people of Midian, then you came upto the standard, Moses. 40 And I have chosen you for Myself: 41 "Go with your brother. Take My miracles and do not be reluctant in preaching My message. 42 Go both of you to Pharaoh, for he has transgressed all bounds, 43 And speak to him with gentle speech that perhaps he may be reminded or fear [Allah]." 44 They said, "Our Lord, indeed we are afraid that he will hasten [punishment] against us or that he will transgress." 45 He replied: 'Have no fear I shall be with you, both hearing and seeing. 46 Go, then; you two unto him and say, 'Behold, we are apostles sent by thy Sustainer: let, then, the children of Israel go with us, and cause them not to suffer [any longer]. We have now come unto thee with a message from thy Sustainer; and [know that His] peace shall be [only] on those who follow [His] guidance: 47 It is revealed to us that those who call our message a lie or turn away from it will face the torment." 48 Said Firaun, “So who is the Lord of you both, O Moosa?” 49 'Our Lord' he replied, 'is He Who gave everything its creation and then guided it' 50 He said: What then is the state of the generations of old? 51 [Musa (Moses)] said: "The knowledge thereof is with my Lord, in a Record. My Lord is neither unaware nor He forgets, " 52 HE IT IS who has made the earth a cradle for you, and has traced out for you ways [of livelihood] thereon, and [who] sends down waters from the sky: and by this means We bring forth various kinds of plants. 53 Do you eat, and pasture your cattle! Surely in that are signs for men possessing reason. 54
