Moses said, "Lord, grant me courage. 25 "And ease my task for me; 26 Unloose the knot upon my tongue, 27 so that they might fully understand my speech, 28 And give me as assistant from my family 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 Strengthen my back by him, 31 "And let him share my task (of conveying Allah's Message and Prophethood), 32 So shall we glorify Thee, 33 and remember you often. 34 You are surely watching over us. 35 He said: surely thou art granted thy petition, O Musa! 36 We had already shown you favor 37 "Behold! We sent to thy mother, by inspiration, the message: 38 'Put the baby into a chest and then throw him in the river. The river will throw him up on the shore, and then an enemy of Mine and an enemy of his will take him.' And I spread My love over you in order that you might be reared in My sight. 39 “When your sister went, then said, ‘Shall I show you the people who may nurse him?’ And We brought you back to your mother in order to soothe her eyes and that she may not grieve; and you killed a man, so We freed you from sorrow, and tested you to the maximum; you therefore stayed for several years among the people of Madyan; then you came (here) at an appointed time, O Moosa.” 40 "And I have prepared thee for Myself (for service)".. 41 "Go you and your brother with My Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), and do not, you both, slacken and become weak in My Remembrance. 42 go forth, both of you, unto Pharaoh: for, verily, he has transgressed all bounds of equity! 43 And speak to him with gentle speech that perhaps he may be reminded or fear [Allah]." 44 'O our Lord,' said Moses and Aaron, 'truly we fear he may exceed against us, or wax insolent.' 45 The Lord replied them, "Do not be afraid; I Am with you all the time, listening and seeing." 46 Go, then; you two unto him and say, 'Behold, we are apostles sent by thy Sustainer: let, then, the children of Israel go with us, and cause them not to suffer [any longer]. We have now come unto thee with a message from thy Sustainer; and [know that His] peace shall be [only] on those who follow [His] guidance: 47 Surely it has been revealed to us that the chastisement will surely come upon him who rejects and turns back. 48 Pharaoh said:" Moses! Who is the Lord of the two of you?" 49 He said, 'Our Lord is He who gave everything its creation, then guided it.' 50 He said: Then what is the state of the former generations? 51 He (Moses) answered: 'The knowledge of them is in a Book with My Lord. My Lord neither goes astray, nor forgets. 52 "He Who has, made for you the earth like a carpet spread out; has enabled you to go about therein by roads (and channels); and has sent down water from the sky." With it have We produced diverse pairs of plants each separate from the others. 53 Eat (for yourselves) and pasture your cattle: verily, in this are Signs for men endued with understanding. 54
