(Moses) said: My Lord! relieve my mind 25 "And ease my task for me; 26 Unloose the knot upon my tongue, 27 so that they may understand my speech, 28 And give to me an aider from my family: 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 "Add to my strength through him, 31 And associate him in my affair. 32 That we may hallow Thee oft. 33 And much remember Thee. 34 "For Thou art He that (ever) regardeth us." 35 [Allah] said, "You have been granted your request, O Moses. 36 And certainly We bestowed on you a favor at another time; 37 “When We inspired in your mother’s heart whatever was to be inspired.” 38 "'Throw (the child) into the chest, and throw (the chest) into the river: the river will cast him up on the bank, and he will be taken up by one who is an enemy to Me and an enemy to him': But I cast (the garment of) love over thee from Me: and (this) in order that thou mayest be reared under Mine eye. 39 Recall when your sister walked along and said, "Shall I guide you to one who will take care of him?" Thus We returned you to your mother, so that her eyes might be cooled and that she might not grieve. And you killed a man and We delivered you from sorrow. We tested you with various trials. You stayed for a number of years among the people of Midian, then you came upto the standard, Moses. 40 And I have chosen you for Myself: 41 go therefore, thou and thy brother; with My signs, and neglect not to remember Me. 42 "Go, both of you, to Fir'aun (Pharaoh), verily, he has transgressed (all bounds in disbelief and disobedience and behaved as an arrogant and as a tyrant). 43 "And speak to him mildly, perhaps he may accept admonition or fear Allah." 44 They said, "Lord, we are afraid of his transgression and rebellion against us". 45 God said, "Do not fear; I am with you both. I hear and I see. 46 They came to the Pharaoh and told him that they were the Messengerss of his Lord and that they wanted him to let the Israelites go with them and stop afflicting the Israelites with torment. They told the Pharaoh, "We have brought miracles from Our Creator. Peace be with those who follow the right guidance. 47 It has been revealed to us that punishment will befall him who denies and turns away. 48 The Pharaoh asked them, "Who is your Lord?" 49 Moses replied, "Our Lord is He who has given everything its form, then guided it." 50 He said: What then is the state of the generations of old? 51 He said, “Their knowledge is with my Lord, (recorded) in a Book; my Lord neither strays nor forgets.” 52 HE IT IS who has made the earth a cradle for you, and has traced out for you ways [of livelihood] thereon, and [who] sends down waters from the sky: and by this means We bring forth various kinds of plants. 53 (Saying): Eat ye and feed your cattle. Lo! herein verily are portents for men of thought. 54
