Moses said, "My Lord! open up my heart, 25 And make my affair easy to me, 26 Remove the defect of my tongue 27 That they may understand my speech. 28 And appoint for me a minister from my family - 29 “That is Haroon, my brother.” 30 “Back me up with him.” 31 And let him share my task 32 So that we should glorify Thee much, 33 and remember Thee without cease! 34 Verily, You have always watched over us." 35 He said: Thou art granted thy request, O Moses. 36 "And indeed We conferred a favour on you another time (before). 37 when We revealed what was to be made known to your mother, 38 Saying! cast him in the ark, and cast him into the river, and the river will throw him on the bank, and then an enemy of Mine and an enemy of his will take him up. And I cast on thee love from Me in order that thou mayest be formed under Mine eye. 39 Your sister went to them and said, "May I show you someone who will nurse this child?" We returned you to your mother to make her rejoice and forget her grief. You slew a man and We saved you from trouble. We tried you through various trials. Then you stayed some years with the people of Midian (Shu'ayb and his family) and after that you came back to Egypt as was ordained. 40 "And I have Istana'tuka, for Myself. 41 Go you and your brother with My communications and be not remiss in remembering Me; 42 Go to Pharaoh, for he has become insolent. 43 yet speak gently to him, that haply he may be mindful, or perchance fear.' 44 They said: "Our Lord! Verily! We fear lest he should hasten to punish us or lest he should transgress (all bounds against us)." 45 (The Lord) said: "Be not afraid. I am verily with you, and I hear and see. 46 So go to him, and say: verily we are two apostles of thy Lord, so let go with us the Children of Isra'il, and torment them not; surely we have come unto thee with a sign from thy Lord: and peace be upon him who followeth the guidance. 47 It is revealed to us that those who call our message a lie or turn away from it will face the torment." 48 Pharaoh said, "Who then is the Lord of you both, Moses?" 49 Musa said: our Lord is He who vouchsafed unto everything its creation, then guided it. 50 (The Pharaoh) said: "And what about the former generations?" 51 He replied: "The knowledge of that is with my Lord, duly recorded: my Lord never errs, nor forgets,- 52 Who hath appointed the earth as a bed and hath threaded roads for you therein and hath sent down water from the sky and thereby We have brought forth divers kinds of vegetation, 53 Eat and pasture your cattle; most surely there are signs in this for those endowed with understanding. 54
