Moses said, "Lord, grant me courage. 25 And make my affair easy to me, 26 And loose a knot from my tongue, 27 that they may understand my speech. 28 And appoint for me a minister from my household. 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 to support me. 31 “And make him a partner in my task.” 32 so that we exalt You 33 and remember you often. 34 Verily, Thou seest all that is within us!" 35 He said: Thou art granted thy request, O Moses. 36 "And indeed, We bestowed Our favour upon thee at a time long since past, 37 when We revealed what was revealed unto thy mother: 38 "Cast him into the ark, and cast him into the river, and let the river throw him up on the shore. An enemy of Mine and his shall take him." And I loaded on thee love from Me, and to be formed in My sight, 39 What time thy sister was walking along and saying: shall I direct you unto one who will take care of him? Thus We returned thee to thy mother that she might cool her eyes and she might not grieve. And thou slewest a person, but We delivered thee from sorrow, and We tried thee with several trials. Then thou tarriedst for years among the people of Madyan then thou camest according to fate, O Musa! 40 I have chosen you for Myself. 41 "Go forth, [then,] thou and thy brother, with My messages, and never tire of remembering Me: 42 "Go, both of you, to Fir'aun (Pharaoh), verily, he has transgressed (all bounds in disbelief and disobedience and behaved as an arrogant and as a tyrant). 43 Speak to him with gentle words; perhaps he will ponder or fear' 44 They both submitted, “Our Lord indeed we fear that he may oppress us or deal mischievously.” 45 He said: "Fear not: for I am with you: I hear and see (everything). 46 “Therefore go to him and say, ‘We are the sent ones of your Lord, therefore let the Descendants of Israel go with us, and do not trouble them; we have indeed brought to you a sign from your Lord; and peace be upon him who follows the guidance.’ 47 It is revealed to us that those who call our message a lie or turn away from it will face the torment." 48 He said: who is the Lord of you twain, O Musa! 49 He said: Our Lord is He Who gave to everything its creation, then guided it (to its goal). 50 He said: Then what is the state of the former generations? 51 (Moses) replied: "Knowledge of that is with my Lord (recorded) in the Book. My Lord neither errs nor forgets." 52 It is He who has laid out the earth for you and traced routes in it and sent down water from the sky. We have brought forth every sort of plant with it, 53 You eat and let your cattle graze' Surely, in this there are signs for those of understanding. 54
