He said: my Lord! expand for me my breast. 25 "And ease my task for me; 26 And untie the knot from my tongue 27 that they may understand my words. 28 "And give me a Minister from my family, 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 Strengthen by him my back. 31 And let him share my task, 32 That we may sing Your praises much, 33 "And remember Thee without stint: 34 Lo! Thou art ever Seeing us. 35 Said He: "Thou art granted all that thou hast asked for, O Moses! 36 And assuredly We conferred a benefit on thee another time. 37 "When We inspired your mother with that which We inspired. 38 'Put him in a wooden box and cast it in the river. The river will cast it on the bank. An enemy of Ours, and his, will retrieve it.' We bestowed Our love on you that you may be reared under Our eyes. 39 Your sister went (to them) and said: 'Shall I guide you to one who will nurse him' And so We restored you to your mother, so that her eyes might rejoice and that she might not sorrow. And when you killed a soul We saved you from grief and then We tried you with many trials. You stayed among the people of Midian for a number of years, and then, Moses, you came here according to a decree. 40 "And I have prepared thee for Myself (for service)".. 41 So go forth, both you and your brother, with My Signs, and do not slacken in remembering Me. 42 "Go, both of you, to Fir'aun (Pharaoh), verily, he has transgressed (all bounds in disbelief and disobedience and behaved as an arrogant and as a tyrant). 43 "And speak to him mildly, perhaps he may accept admonition or fear Allah." 44 They said, "Lord, we are afraid of his transgression and rebellion against us". 45 Answered He: "Fear not! Verily, I shall be with you two, hearing and seeing [all]. 46 So go you both to him and say: Surely we are two apostles of your Lord; therefore send the children of Israel with us and do not torment them! Indeed we have brought to you a communication from your Lord, and peace is on him who follows the guidance; 47 It has been revealed to us that punishment will befall him who denies and turns away. 48 [But when God's message was conveyed unto Pharaoh,] he said: "Who, now, is this Sustainer of you two, O Moses?" 49 They replied, "Our Lord is the One Who has created all things and has given guidance". 50 [Fir'aun (Pharaoh)] said: "What about the generations of old?" 51 He said, “Their knowledge is with my Lord, (recorded) in a Book; my Lord neither strays nor forgets.” 52 Who hath appointed the earth as a bed and hath threaded roads for you therein and hath sent down water from the sky and thereby We have brought forth divers kinds of vegetation, 53 You eat and let your cattle graze' Surely, in this there are signs for those of understanding. 54
