[Moses] said, "My Lord, expand for me my breast [with assurance] 25 and make my task easy for me, 26 "And remove the impediment from my speech, 27 so that they may understand me. 28 And appoint for me a minister from my family - 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 to support me. 31 “And make him a partner in my task.” 32 "That we may celebrate Thy praise without stint, 33 "And remember Thee without stint: 34 Lo! Thou art ever Seeing us. 35 He said: "Moses, your petition is granted. 36 And assuredly We conferred a benefit on thee another time. 37 When We inspired unto thy mother that which We inspired, 38 "'Throw (the child) into the chest, and throw (the chest) into the river: the river will cast him up on the bank, and he will be taken up by one who is an enemy to Me and an enemy to him': But I cast (the garment of) love over thee from Me: and (this) in order that thou mayest be reared under Mine eye. 39 Your sister went to them and said, "May I show you someone who will nurse this child?" We returned you to your mother to make her rejoice and forget her grief. You slew a man and We saved you from trouble. We tried you through various trials. Then you stayed some years with the people of Midian (Shu'ayb and his family) and after that you came back to Egypt as was ordained. 40 I have chosen you for My service. 41 Go, you and your brother, with My signs and do not slacken in My remembrance. 42 Go, both of you to Pharaoh, for he has transgressed all bounds. 43 But speak gently to him; perhaps he may yet take heed or even feel afraid." 44 They said: "Our Lord! Verily! We fear lest he should hasten to punish us or lest he should transgress (all bounds against us)." 45 The Lord replied them, "Do not be afraid; I Am with you all the time, listening and seeing." 46 So go you both to Pharaoh, and say, "We are the Messengers of thy Lord, so send forth with us the Children of Israel and chastise them not; we have brought thee a sign from thy Lord; and peace be upon him who follows the guidance! 47 Lo! it hath been revealed unto us that the doom will be for him who denieth and turneth away. 48 (When this message was delivered), (Pharaoh) said: "Who, then, O Moses, is the Lord of you two?" 49 He said, "Our Lord is He who gave each thing its form and then guided [it]." 50 Said Firaun, “What is the state of the former generations?” 51 He (Moses) answered: 'The knowledge of them is in a Book with My Lord. My Lord neither goes astray, nor forgets. 52 It is God who has made the earth as a cradle for you with roads for you to travel. He has sent water from the sky to produce various pairs of plants. 53 Do you eat, and pasture your cattle! Surely in that are signs for men possessing reason. 54
