Said [Moses]: "O my Sustainer! Open up my heart [to Thy light,] 25 And make my affair easy to me, 26 And loose a knot from my tongue. 27 "That they understand my speech, 28 "And appoint for me a helper from my family, 29 "Harun (Aaron), my brother; 30 Increase through him my strength 31 And let him share my task, 32 So shall we glorify Thee, 33 and remember You much: 34 You are surely watching over us. 35 Said He: "Thou art granted all that thou hast asked for, O Moses! 36 We have bestowed Our favour on you before this 37 When We inspired unto thy mother that which We inspired, 38 'Put him in a wooden box and cast it in the river. The river will cast it on the bank. An enemy of Ours, and his, will retrieve it.' We bestowed Our love on you that you may be reared under Our eyes. 39 “When your sister went, then said, ‘Shall I show you the people who may nurse him?’ And We brought you back to your mother in order to soothe her eyes and that she may not grieve; and you killed a man, so We freed you from sorrow, and tested you to the maximum; you therefore stayed for several years among the people of Madyan; then you came (here) at an appointed time, O Moosa.” 40 "And I have prepared thee for Myself (for service)".. 41 “You and your brother, both go with My signs, and do not slacken in My remembrance.” 42 "Go, both of you, to Pharaoh, for he has indeed transgressed all bounds; 43 Speak to him gently. He may possibly take heed or may come to have fear." 44 They (Moses and Aaron) said: "Our Lord! We fear lest he hasten with insolence against us, or lest he transgress all bounds." 45 He replied: 'Have no fear I shall be with you, both hearing and seeing. 46 So go to him and say: 'The two of us have indeed been sent by your Lord. So let the children of Israel come with us, and do not oppress them. We have come to you with a token from your Lord. Peace on him who follows the way of guidance. 47 ‘It has indeed been revealed to us that the punishment is upon the one who denies and turns away.’” 48 Pharaoh said:" Moses! Who is the Lord of the two of you?" 49 They replied, "Our Lord is the One Who has created all things and has given guidance". 50 Pharaoh asked, "What about the previous generations?" 51 Musa said: the knowledge thereof is with my Lord in the Book; my Lord erreth not, nor He forgetteth. 52 It is He who has made for you the earth as a cradle and threaded roads for you and sends down water from the sky with which We bring forth every kind of plant. 53 Eat [therefrom] and pasture your livestock. Indeed, in that are signs for those of intelligence. 54
