Said Moosa, “My Lord, open up my breast for me.” 25 And ease for me my task 26 "And remove the impediment from my speech, 27 that they may understand my speech. 28 Appoint for me a henchman from my folk, 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 Strengthen me through him 31 And associate him in my affair. 32 “In order that we may profusely proclaim Your Purity.” 33 And remember You much. 34 Surely, Thou art seeing us. 35 Allah said: "You are granted your request, O Musa (Moses)! 36 "And indeed We conferred a favour on thee another time (before). 37 when We revealed what was revealed unto thy mother: 38 [Saying], 'Cast him into the chest and cast it into the river, and the river will throw it onto the bank; there will take him an enemy to Me and an enemy to him.' And I bestowed upon you love from Me that you would be brought up under My eye. 39 When your sister went and said: Shall I direct you to one who will take charge of him? So We brought you back to your mother, that her eye might be cooled and she should not grieve and you killed a man, then We delivered you from the grief, and We tried you with (a severe) trying. Then you stayed for years among the people of Madyan; then you came hither as ordained, O Musa. 40 And I produced you for Myself. 41 "Go you and your brother with My Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), and do not, you both, slacken and become weak in My Remembrance. 42 "Go, both of you, to Fir'aun (Pharaoh), verily, he has transgressed (all bounds in disbelief and disobedience and behaved as an arrogant and as a tyrant). 43 Speak to him gently. He may possibly take heed or may come to have fear." 44 They said: Our Lord! Lo! we fear that he may be beforehand with us or that he may play the tyrant. 45 God said, "Do not fear; I am with you both. I hear and I see. 46 So go to him and say, 'Indeed, we are messengers of your Lord, so send with us the Children of Israel and do not torment them. We have come to you with a sign from your Lord. And peace will be upon he who follows the guidance. 47 Lo! it hath been revealed unto us that the doom will be for him who denieth and turneth away. 48 [But when God's message was conveyed unto Pharaoh,] he said: "Who, now, is this Sustainer of you two, O Moses?" 49 [Musa (Moses)] said: "Our Lord is He Who gave to each thing its form and nature, then guided it aright." 50 He said: then what happened to the former generations? 51 Said Moses, 'The knowledge of them is with my Lord, in a Book; my Lord goes not astray, nor forgets -- 52 Who made the earth for you an expanse and made for you therein paths and sent down water from the cloud; then thereby We have brought forth many species of various herbs. 53 (Saying): Eat ye and feed your cattle. Lo! herein verily are portents for men of thought. 54
