Said Moosa, “My Lord, open up my breast for me.” 25 and ease my task for me. 26 And untie the knot from my tongue 27 (That) they may understand my word; 28 “And appoint for me a viceroy from among my family.” 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 to support me. 31 And associate him (with me) in my affair, 32 “In order that we may profusely proclaim Your Purity.” 33 “And profusely remember You.” 34 You are Well Aware of our situation." 35 He said: Thou art granted thy request, O Moses. 36 It is the second time that We have bestowed upon you Our favor. 37 Recall, when We indicated to your mother through inspiration: 38 "Saying: 'Put him (the child) into the Tabut (a box or a case or a chest) and put it into the river (Nile), then the river shall cast it up on the bank, and there, an enemy of Mine and an enemy of his shall take him.' And I endued you with love from Me, in order that you may be brought up under My Eye, 39 "When your sister went and said: 'Shall I show you one who will nurse him?' So We restored you to your mother, that she might cool her eyes and she should not grieve. Then you did kill a man, but We saved you from great distress and tried you with a heavy trial. Then you stayed a number of years with the people of Madyan (Midian). Then you came here according to the fixed term which I ordained (for you), O Musa (Moses)! 40 And I chose you for Myself. 41 Go with My signs, you and your brother, and do not be lax in remembering Me. 42 Go both of you to Pharaoh, for he has transgressed all bounds, 43 Both of you must speak with him in a gentle manner so that perhaps he may come to himself or have fear (of God)." 44 They said: "O our Lord, we are really frightened lest he behave insolently with us or become violent." 45 He said: Fear not, surely I am with you both: I do hear and see. 46 So go to him and say, 'Indeed, we are messengers of your Lord, so send with us the Children of Israel and do not torment them. We have come to you with a sign from your Lord. And peace will be upon he who follows the guidance. 47 It has been revealed to us that punishment will befall him who denies and turns away. 48 Said Firaun, “So who is the Lord of you both, O Moosa?” 49 [Musa (Moses)] said: "Our Lord is He Who gave to each thing its form and nature, then guided it aright." 50 He (Pharaoh) asked: 'How was it then, with the former generations' 51 Moses said, "My Lord alone has knowledge of that, recorded in a Book. My Lord neither errs nor forgets." 52 [It is He] who has made for you the earth as a bed [spread out] and inserted therein for you roadways and sent down from the sky, rain and produced thereby categories of various plants. 53 Eat and pasture your cattle, (therein); verily, in this are proofs and signs for men of understanding. 54
