[Moses] said, "My Lord, expand for me my breast [with assurance] 25 Make my task easy 26 Unloose the knot upon my tongue, 27 so that they may understand me. 28 Appoint for me a minister from my family 29 Aaron, my brother; 30 Increase through him my strength 31 and associate him with me in my task. 32 That we may hallow Thee oft. 33 and may remember You much. 34 You are surely watching over us. 35 Said He, 'Thou art granted, Moses, thy petition. 36 "And indeed We conferred a favour on thee another time (before). 37 When We inspired to your mother what We inspired, 38 [Saying], 'Cast him into the chest and cast it into the river, and the river will throw it onto the bank; there will take him an enemy to Me and an enemy to him.' And I bestowed upon you love from Me that you would be brought up under My eye. 39 Recall when your sister walked along and said, "Shall I guide you to one who will take care of him?" Thus We returned you to your mother, so that her eyes might be cooled and that she might not grieve. And you killed a man and We delivered you from sorrow. We tested you with various trials. You stayed for a number of years among the people of Midian, then you came upto the standard, Moses. 40 I have chosen thee for My service; 41 So go forth, both you and your brother, with My Signs, and do not slacken in remembering Me. 42 Go, both of you, to Pharaoh. Indeed, he has transgressed. 43 and speak to him gently, perhaps he may take heed or fear (Allah)." 44 Both said: O our Lord! Surely we fear that he may hasten to do evil to us or that he may become inordinate. 45 The Lord replied them, "Do not be afraid; I Am with you all the time, listening and seeing." 46 So go you both to him and say: Surely we are two apostles of your Lord; therefore send the children of Israel with us and do not torment them! Indeed we have brought to you a communication from your Lord, and peace is on him who follows the guidance; 47 Verily we! it hath been revealed unto us that the torment will be for him who belieth and turneth away. 48 He asked: "Who then is that Lord of yours, O Moses?" 49 (Moses) said: "Our Lord is He who gave everything its natural form and directed it." 50 He (Pharaoh) asked: 'How was it then, with the former generations' 51 [Musa (Moses)] said: "The knowledge thereof is with my Lord, in a Record. My Lord is neither unaware nor He forgets, " 52 "He Who has, made for you the earth like a carpet spread out; has enabled you to go about therein by roads (and channels); and has sent down water from the sky." With it have We produced diverse pairs of plants each separate from the others. 53 To eat and feed your cattle. Surely there are signs in these for those who are wise. 54
