And certainly Haroun had said to them before: O my people! you are only tried by it, and surely your Lord is the Beneficent Allah, therefore follow me and obey my order. 90 'We will not cease,' they said, 'to cleave to it, until Moses returns to us.') 91 (Moses) said: "O Aaron! what kept thee back, when thou sawest them going wrong, 92 "That you followed me not (according to my advice to you)? Have you then disobeyed my order?" 93 He said: O son of my mother! seize me not by my beard nor by my head; surely I was afraid lest you should say: You have caused a division among the children of Israel and not waited for my word. 94 Moses asked: "O Sameri, what was the matter?" 95 He answered: "I have gained insight into something which they were unable to see: and so I took hold of a handful of the Apostle's teachings and cast it away: for thus has my mind prompted me [to act]." 96 Musa said: begone thou! verily it shall be thine in life to say no contact; and verily thine is an appointment which thou shalt by no means fail. And look at thy god to which thou hast been assiduous; we shall surely burn it, and we shall scatter it into the sea a wide scattering. 97 Your only deity is God, there is no deity but Him. His knowledge encompasses all things." 98 Thus We relate to you (O Muhammad SAW) some information of what happened before. And indeed We have given you from Us a Reminder (this Quran). 99 Whoso turneth away from it, he verily will bear a burden on the Day of Resurrection, 100 and live in it for ever; how evil will that burden be for them on the Day of Resurrection. 101 On the day when the trumpet will be sounded We will raise the criminals from their graves and their eyes will be turned blue and blind. 102 In whispers will they consult each other: "Yet tarried not longer than ten (Days); 103 We know best what they will say, when their leader most eminent in conduct will say: "Ye tarried not longer than a day!" 104
