They will question you about the mountains. Say: 'My Lord will scatter them as ashes 105 and leave the earth a levelled plain 106 “In which you shall neither see ups nor downs.” 107 On that day they will follow their caller without deviation. Their voices will be low in the presence of the Beneficent God. You will hear nothing but the tread of the marching feet. 108 That Day, no intercession will benefit except [that of] one to whom the Most Merciful has given permission and has accepted his word. 109 He knows all that is before them and all that is behind them, whereas their knowledge cannot encompass it. 110 ۞ Faces will be humble before the Everlasting and the Self-existing God.
