They ask you about the mountains. Say, "My Lord will scatter them as dust 105 and leave them a desolate waste, 106 wherein thou wilt see no crookedness neither any curving.' 107 On that Day, they will follow the Summoner, who is not crooked, their voices hushed before the Merciful, and you shall hear nothing except a murmuring. 108 On that Day no intercession will avail, except from one who has received the sanction of the Merciful and of whose words He approves, 109 He knows what is before them and behind them, and they do not comprehend Him in knowledge. 110 ۞ on that Day all faces shall be humbled before the Living, Self-Subsisting One. Those burdened with evil deeds will come to grief, 111 But he who works deeds of righteousness, and has faith, will have no fear of harm nor of any curtailment (of what is his due). 112 And thus We have sent it down as an Arabic Qur'an and have diversified therein the warnings that perhaps they will avoid [sin] or it would cause them remembrance. 113 Exalted then be God, the real King; and do not try to anticipate the Qur'an before the completion of its revelation, but pray: "O Lord, give me greater knowledge." 114 We made a covenant with Adam, but he forgot and We found in him no constancy. 115
