Al-Anbyaa' 4 of 7
Say: Who guards you by night and by day from the Beneficent Allah? Nay, they turn aside at the mention of their Lord. 42 Do they have other deities who can defend them against Us? They cannot even help themselves, neither can they be aided against Us. 43 But in fact We have given these (disbelievers) and their fathers a benefit to the extent that life became long for them; so do they not see that We are reducing the land from its borders? So will these be victorious? 44 Say: 'I warn you only by the Revelation'; but they that are deaf do not hear the call when they are warned. 45 Even if a whiff of the Lord's chastisement were to touch them they would surely say: "Ah woe, alas, we were surely sinful." 46 We shall fix the scales of justice on the Day of Resurrection, so that none will be wronged in the least; and even if it were equal to a mustard seed in weight We shall take it (into account). We are sufficient for computation. 47 In the past We granted to Moses and Aaron the criterion (for judgment), and a Light and a Message for those who would do right,- 48 Those who fear their Lord in secret and who dread the Hour (of doom). 49 And this [Qur'an] is a blessed message which We have sent down. Then are you with it unacquainted? 50
