Say: "Who could protect you, by night or by day, from the Most Gracious?" And yet, from a remembrance of their Sustainer do they stubbornly turn away! 42 Or do they have lords of their own besides Us who can defend them? But they are not able to help themselves, nor can they find protection against Us. 43 Nay, We gave the luxuries of this life to these men and their fathers until the period grew long for them. See they not that We gradually reduce the land (in their control) from its outlying borders? Is it then they who will overcome. 44 Say thou: I only warn you by the revelation; and the deaf hearken not unto the call when they are warned. 45 If a blast of the torment of your Lord strikes them, they will say, "Woe to us! We have been unjust people." 46 We shall set up scales of justice for the Day of Judgment, so that not a soul will be dealt with unjustly in the least, and if there be (no more than) the weight of a mustard seed, We will bring it (to account): and enough are We to take account. 47 And assuredly We vcuchsafed unto Musa and Harun the distinction and illumination and an admonition for the God-fearing. 48 those who fear their Lord in the unseen, also dread the Hour of Judgement. 49 This is a blessed Reminder that we have revealed: Will ye then reject it? 50
