Say, "Who will save you from the wrath of the Most Gracious, by night and by day?" Yet they turn away from the remembrance of their Lord. 42 Do they have other deities who can defend them against Us? They cannot even help themselves, neither can they be aided against Us. 43 We gave days of enjoyment to them and their fathers until their life became long. Are they unable to see how We come to their land and reduce its borders. Or, is it they who are the victors? 44 Tell them: "I only warn you by the Revelation." But the deaf do not hear the cry when they are warned. 45 If but a breath of the Wrath of thy Lord do touch them, they will then say, "Woe to us! we did wrong indeed!" 46 And We place the scales of justice for the Day of Resurrection, so no soul will be treated unjustly at all. And if there is [even] the weight of a mustard seed, We will bring it forth. And sufficient are We as accountant. 47 We gave Moses and Aaron the criterion of right and wrong and a light and reminder for the righteous, 48 Those who fear their Lord in secret and who dread the Hour (of doom). 49 This is a blessed reminder that We have revealed to you. Will you then reject it? 50
