Al-Anbyaa' 4 of 7
Tell them, (O Muhammad): "Who protects you, during the night or the day from the Most Compassionate Lord?" And yet they turn away from the Admonition of their Lord. 42 Have they gods who defend them beside Us? They are not able to succour themselves, and against Us they cannot be kept company with. 43 We gave days of enjoyment to them and their fathers until their life became long. Are they unable to see how We come to their land and reduce its borders. Or, is it they who are the victors? 44 Say: I warn you only by revelation; and the deaf do not hear the call whenever they are warned. 45 Were only the slightest whiff from your Lord's punishment to touch them, they would cry out: "Woe to us; we were indeed wrong-doers." 46 We shall set up scales of justice on the Day of Resurrection, so that no soul can be in the least wronged. Actions as small as a grain of mustard seed shall be weighed. We are sufficient as a reckoner. 47 And We had already given Moses and Aaron the criterion and a light and a reminder for the righteous 48 such as fear God in the Unseen, trembling because of the Hour. 49 This is a blessed Remembrance which We have sent down. Do you disbelieve it? 50
