And [mention] Noah, when he called [to Allah] before [that time], so We responded to him and saved him and his family from the great flood. 76 And We saved him from the people who denied Our signs. Indeed, they were a people of evil, so We drowned them, all together. 77 And David and Solomon, when they gave judgment concerning the field, when people's sheep had strayed and browsed therein by night; and We were witnesses to their judgment. 78 We guided Solomon to the right verdict, and We had granted each of them judgement and knowledge. We made the mountains and the birds celebrate the praise of Allah with David. It was We Who did all this. 79 And We taught him to make a garment for you, to protect you from your hurt; so will you be thankful? 80 And unto Sulaiman We subjected the wind, strongly raging, running at his command toward the land wherein We had placed Our blessing; and of evrything We are the knowers. 81 And some of the satans dived for him and others did work as well. We were watching over them. 82 ۞ We bestowed (the same wisdom, judgement and knowledge) upon Job. Recall, when he cried to his Lord: "Behold, disease has struck me and You are the Most Merciful of those that are merciful." 83 We heard his prayer and relieved his suffering, We restored to him his family, doubling their number as an act of Our grace, and as a reminder for the worshippers. 84 And [mention] Ishmael and Idrees and Dhul-Kifl; all were of the patient. 85 We encompassed them in Our mercy; they were righteous people. 86 And [mention] the man of the fish, when he went off in anger and thought that We would not decree [anything] upon him. And he called out within the darknesses, "There is no deity except You; exalted are You. Indeed, I have been of the wrongdoers." 87 We answered his prayer and saved him from his grief. Thus We save the faithful ones. 88 And Zachariah -- when he called unto his Lord, 'O my Lord, leave me not solitary; though Thou art the best of inheritors.' 89 We therefore heard his prayer; and bestowed him Yahya, and cured his wife for him; indeed they used to hasten to perform good deeds, and pray to Us with hope and fear; and used to weep before Us. 90 And (remember) she who guarded her chastity [Virgin Maryam (Mary)], We breathed into (the sleeves of) her (shirt or garment) [through Our Ruh - Jibrael (Gabriel)], and We made her and her son ['Iesa (Jesus)] a sign for Al-'Alamin (the mankind and jinns). 91 Truly! This, your Ummah [Sharia or religion (Islamic Monotheism)] is one religion, and I am your Lord, therefore worship Me (Alone). [Tafsir Ibn Kathir] 92 But they (the Christians and Jews) split their affair between them all shall return to Us. 93
