Al-Anbyaa' 7 of 7
So whoever does some good deeds, and is a believer, then his efforts will not be ignored; and We are recording it. 94 And there is a ban upon any community which We have destroyed: that they shall not return. 95 till, when Gog and Magog are unloosed, and they slide down out of every slope, 96 And [when] the true promise has approached; then suddenly the eyes of those who disbelieved will be staring [in horror, while they say], "O woe to us; we had been unmindful of this; rather, we were wrongdoers." 97 You and what you worship instead of God will be fuel for hell: to it you shall all come -- 98 If those had been gods, they would never have gone down to it, but in it they shall live for ever. 99 Moaning will be their lot therein, and nothing [else] will they hear therein. 100 But for those whom We had decided to favour with good reward, they shall be kept far removed from Hell. 101 They will not even hear the slightest sound from it while enjoying the best that they can wish for in their everlasting life. 102 They will not be affected by the great terror. The angels will come to them with this glad news: "This is your day which was promised to you." 103 The Day when We shall roll up the heavens as a recorder rolleth up a written scroll. As We began the first creation, We shall repeat it. (It is) a promise (binding) upon Us. Lo! We are to perform it. 104 Surely We wrote in the Psalms, after the exhortation, that the earth shall be inherited by My righteous servants. 105 Most surely in this is a message to a people who serve 106 We have sent you as a benevolence to the creatures of the world. 107 Say, "It has been revealed to me that your God is but One God. Will you then submit to Him?" 108 If they turn back, say: 'I have warned you all alike, though I cannot tell whether what you are promised is imminent or distant. 109 God knows well all that is spoken aloud and all that you hide. 110 I know not; haply it is a trial for you and an enjoyment for a time. 111 He said: O my Lord! judge Thou with truth; and our Lord is the Beneficent Allah, Whose help is sought against what you ascribe (to Him). 112
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
