The endeavors of he who believes and does good works shall not go unthanked. We write it down for him. 94 And it is binding on a town which We destroy that they shall not return. 95 till Gog and Magog are let loose and slide down out of every slope; 96 and the time for the fulfilment of the true promise of Allah draws near, whereupon the eyes of those who disbelieved will stare in fear, and they will say: "Woe to us, we were indeed heedless of this; nay, we were wrongdoers." 97 Lo! ye (idolaters) and that which ye worship beside Allah are fuel of hell. Thereunto ye will come. 98 Had these [false deities] been [actual] gods, they would not have come to it, but all are eternal therein. 99 Theirs therein shall be roaring, and therein they shall hear not. 100 Indeed, those for whom the best [reward] has preceded from Us - they are from it far removed. 101 They will not hear its faintest sound, and they shall abide in that which their souls long for. 102 They will not be affected by the great terror. The angels will come to them with this glad news: "This is your day which was promised to you." 103 The day when We shall roll up the heavens as the recording angel rolls up the register of deeds; We shall make him similar to Our making him the first time; this is a promise upon Us; We certainly have to do it. 104 Surely We wrote in the Psalms, after the exhortation, that the earth shall be inherited by My righteous servants. 105 Surely in this is a Message delivered unto a people who serve. 106 And We have not sent you but as a mercy to the worlds. 107 Say: "What has come to me by inspiration is that your Allah is One Allah: will ye therefore bow to His Will (in Islam)?" 108 But if they turn back, Say: "I have proclaimed the Message to you all alike and in truth; but I know not whether that which ye are promised is near or far. 109 God knows well all that is spoken aloud and all that you hide. 110 But [as for me,] I do not know whether, perchance, this [delay in God's judgment] is but a trial for you, and a [merciful] respite for a while." 111 Say: "O my Sustainer! Judge Thou in truth!" - and [say]: "Our Sustainer is the Most Gracious, the One whose aid is ever to be sought against all your [attempts at] defining [Him]!" 112
