The endeavors of he who believes and does good works shall not go unthanked. We write it down for him. 94 It has been ordained against every town that We ever destroyed that they shall not return (to enjoy a new lease of life) 95 Until when Ya'juj and Ma'juj are let out, and from every mound they are trickling down. 96 the while the true promise [of resurrection] draws close [to its fulfillment]. But then, lo! the eyes of those who [in their lifetime] were bent on denying the truth will stare in horror, [and they will exclaim:] "Oh, woe unto us! We were indeed heedless of this [promise of resurrection]! - nay, we were [bent on] doing evil!" 97 Verily you and those you worship other than God will be faggots for Hell; and come to it you will. 98 If those had been gods, they would never have gone down to it; yet every one of them shall therein abide forever;' 99 There will only be groaning for them, and they will not hear any thing. 100 But for those whom We had decided to favour with good reward, they shall be kept far removed from Hell. 101 And will not hear its hissing, and will live for ever in the midst of what their hearts desire. 102 They will have safety from the mighty terror, and angels will receive them, (saying:) "This is your day which had been promised you." 103 The day when We shall roll up the heavens as the recording angel rolls up the register of deeds; We shall make him similar to Our making him the first time; this is a promise upon Us; We certainly have to do it. 104 For We have written in the Psalms, after the Remembrance, 'The earth shall be the inheritance of My righteous servants.' 105 Verily in this (Qur'an) is a Message for people who would (truly) worship Allah. 106 And [thus, O Prophet,] We have sent thee as [an evidence of Our] grace towards all the worlds. 107 Say, "It is revealed to me that there is only one Lord. Will you then submit yourselves to His will?" 108 Then, if they should turn their backs, say: 'I have proclaimed to you all equally, even though I know not whether near or far is that you are promised.' 109 Surely He knows what is spoken aloud and He knows what you hide. 110 But [as for me,] I do not know whether, perchance, this [delay in God's judgment] is but a trial for you, and a [merciful] respite for a while." 111 Say: "O my Sustainer! Judge Thou in truth!" - and [say]: "Our Sustainer is the Most Gracious, the One whose aid is ever to be sought against all your [attempts at] defining [Him]!" 112
