Al-Anbyaa' 7 of 7
Then whosoever does righteous works, while believing, his striving will not go unappreciated. We record them all for him. 94 (It is ordained that) no village We have destroyed shall return 95 until such a time as Gog and Magog are let loose [upon the world] and swarm down from every corner [of the earth,] 96 And the True Promise has come near – thereupon the eyes of the disbelievers will become fixed, staring wide; saying “Woe to us – we were in neglect of this, but in fact we were unjust.” 97 Lo! ye (idolaters) and that which ye worship beside Allah are fuel of hell. Thereunto ye will come. 98 if those had really been deities, they would not have been led there; but there they will remain forever. 99 For them therein shall be groaning and therein they shall not hear. 100 But those who have been promised a good reward by Us will be kept far away from Hell -- 101 Not the slightest sound will they hear of Hell: what their souls desired, in that will they dwell. 102 The Great Terror will bring them no grief: but the angels will meet them (with mutual greetings): "This is your Day,- (the Day) that ye were promised." 103 On the day when We will roll up heaven like the rolling up of the scroll for writings, as We originated the first creation, (so) We shall reproduce it; a promise (binding on Us); surely We will bring it about. 104 Surely We wrote in the Psalms, after the exhortation, that the earth shall be inherited by My righteous servants. 105 Surely in this is a Message delivered unto a people who serve. 106 We have sent you forth as a mercy to all mankind. 107 Say thou: this only hath been revealed unto me, that your god is only One God. submit ye then?! 108 But if they turn back, Say: "I have proclaimed the Message to you all alike and in truth; but I know not whether that which ye are promised is near or far. 109 God knows well all that is spoken aloud and all that you hide. 110 And I do not know if this may be a trial for you and a provision till a time. 111 He said: O my Lord! judge Thou with truth; and our Lord is the Beneficent Allah, Whose help is sought against what you ascribe (to Him). 112
True are the words of God the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
