O men, a similitude is struck; so give you ear to it. Surely those upon whom you call, apart from God, shall never create a fly, though they banded together to do it; and if a fly should rob them of aught, they would never rescue it from him. Feeble indeed alike are the seeker and the sought! 73 No true understanding of God have they [who err in this way]: for, verily, God is most powerful, almighty! 74 God chooses of the angels Messengers and of mankind; surely God is All-hearing, All-seeing. 75 He knows what is before them, and what is behind them. And to Allah return all matters (for decision). 76 O you who have believed, bow and prostrate and worship your Lord and do good - that you may succeed. ۩ 77 And strive hard in (the way of) Allah, (such) a striving as is due to Him; He has chosen you and has not laid upon you an hardship in religion; the faith of your father Ibrahim; He named you Muslims before and in this, that the Apostle may be a bearer of witness to you, and you may be bearers of witness to the people; therefore keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate and hold fast by Allah; He is your Guardian; how excellent the Guardian and how excellent the Helper! 78
