The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ THE TRUE BELIEVERS will be successful, 1 Those who humble themselves in their prayers; 2 Who avoid vain talk; 3 And they who are observant of zakah 4 And those who guard their chastity (i.e. private parts, from illegal sexual acts) 5 save from their wives, or those whom their right hands possess; for with regard to them they are free from blame " 6 So whoever desires more than these two – they are crossing the limits. 7 And those who are keepers of their trusts and their covenant, 8 and those who attend to their prayers; 9 Those are the inheritors 10 Who will inherit paradise. There they will abide. 11 And certainly We created man of an extract of clay, 12 then We made him into a drop of life-germ, then We placed it in a safe depository, 13 then We developed that drop into a clinging form, and We developed that form into a lump of flesh, and We developed that lump into bones, and clothed the bones with flesh. Then We brought him into being as a new creation, glory be to God, the best of creators, 14 Then indeed, after that you are to die. 15 Then verily on the Day of Judgment ye shall be raised up. 16 We have created seven ways above you; of Our creation, We are never inattentive. 17 And We sent down out of heaven water in measure and lodged it in the earth; and We are able to take it away. 18 Then We produced for you therewith gardens of palms and vines wherein are many fruits for you, and of them you eat, 19 And [We brought forth] a tree issuing from Mount Sinai which produces oil and food for those who eat. 20 And behold, in the cattle [too] there is indeed a lesson for you: We give you to drink of that [milk] which is within their bellies; and you derive many [other] uses from them: for, you eat of their flesh, 21 and by them - as by the ships [over the sea] - you are borne [overland]. 22
