The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ THE TRUE BELIEVERS will be successful, 1 Those who humbly cry in their prayers. 2 And who keep aloof from what is vain, 3 And those who pay the Zakat. 4 And they who guard their private parts 5 save from their wives and what their right hands own then being not blameworthy 6 But whoever seeks to go beyond that, these are they that exceed the limits; 7 Those who are faithfully true to their Amanat (all the duties which Allah has ordained, honesty, moral responsibility and trusts etc.) and to their covenants; 8 And who pay heed to their prayers. 9 It is they, they who shall be the inheritors 10 These are the heirs of Paradise wherein they will live forever. 11 We created man from an essence of clay, 12 Then We placed him as (a drop of) sperm in a place of rest, firmly fixed; 13 and then We create out of the drop of sperm a germ-cell, and then We create out of the germ-cell an embryonic lump, and then We create within the embryonic lump bones, and then We clothe the bones with flesh - and then We bring [all] this into being as a new creation: hallowed, therefore, is God, the best of artisans! 14 Then after that you will most surely die. 15 Then you will all be raised on the Day of Resurrection. 16 And indeed We have created seven paths above you; and We are not unmindful of the creation. 17 And We send down water from the cloud according to a measure, then We cause it to settle in the earth, and most surely We are able to carry it away. 18 Then We cause to grow thereby gardens of palm trees and grapes for you; you have in them many fruits and from them do you eat; 19 And a tree that springeth forth from Mount Sinai that groweth oil and relish for the eaters. 20 And in cattle (too) ye have an instructive example: from within their bodies We produce (milk) for you to drink; there are, in them, (besides), numerous (other) benefits for you; and of their (meat) ye eat; 21 And on them and on the ship ye are carried. 22
