The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Prosperous are the believers 1 who are submissive to God in their prayers, 2 And those who turn away from Al-Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk, falsehood, and all that Allah has forbidden). 3 And who are givers of poor-rate, 4 And who guard their modesty - 5 except with their wives, and what their right hands possess -- for then they are free from blame, 6 Those who desire to go beyond such limits they commit transgression, 7 and who preserve their trusts and their covenant 8 And who guard their prayers. 9 They are the inheritors. 10 that shall inherit Paradise; and in it they shall abide for ever. 11 Man We did create from a quintessence (of clay); 12 which was then turned into a living germ and placed in safe depository. 13 then We created of the drop a clot then We created of the clot a tissue then We created of the tissue bones then We garmented the bones in flesh; thereafter We produced him as another creature. So blessed be God, the fairest of creators! 14 After that, surely, you will die. 15 and then on the Day of Resurrection you shall certainly be raised up. 16 And indeed We have created above you seven heavens (one over the other), and We are never unaware of the creation. 17 We have sent a measure of water from the sky to stay on earth and We have the power to take it away. 18 Then We produce for you therewith gardens of date-palms and grapes, wherein is much fruit for you and whereof ye eat; 19 And also a tree that springeth forth from mount Sinai, that groweth oil and is a sauce for the eaters. 20 And surely in the cattle there is a lesson for you; We give you to drink of what is in their bellies, and many uses there are in them for you, and of them you eat; 21 And you are carried on them and on the ship. 22
