The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Successful indeed are the believers. 1 who are submissive to God in their prayers, 2 and who turn away from all that is frivolous, 3 And those who pay the Zakat. 4 those who safeguard their chastity 5 Save in regard to their spouses and those whom their right hands own: so they are not blameworthy 6 As for those who seek beyond that, they are transgressors" 7 and who preserve their trusts and their covenant 8 and who observe their prayers. 9 These! they are the inheritors. 10 Who shall inherit the Firdaus (Paradise). They shall dwell therein forever. 11 We created man of an extraction of clay, 12 Then made him a drop of fluid in a secure shelter. 13 then We made this drop into a clot, then We made the clot into a lump, then We made the lump into bones, then We clothed the bones with flesh, and then We caused it to grow into another creation. Thus Most Blessed is Allah, the Best of all those that create. 14 After that you shall surely die, 15 Then lo! on the Day of Resurrection ye are raised (again). 16 And We have created above you seven paths, and We are never unmindful of creation. 17 We sent down water from the sky in due measure and lodged it in the earth, but if We please, We have the power to take it away, 18 We have produced palm-groves and vineyards for you, in which there are abundant fruits for you; and you eat these, 19 We have also created for you the tree that grows on Mount Sinai which produces oil and relish for those who use it. 20 There is a lesson for you concerning cattle. We provide you with drink from their bellies and many other benefits. You can consume them as meat. 21 and you ride on them as you do in ships. 22
