The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Triumphant indeed are the believers, 1 Those who humbly cry in their prayers. 2 And they who turn away from ill speech 3 And those who for the sake of purification are doers. 4 who strictly guard their private parts 5 except with their wives and what their right hand possess, and then they are not blamed. 6 But whoever seeks beyond that, then those are the transgressors; 7 and who are faithful to their trusts and to their pledges, 8 and who guard their Prayers. 9 These are indeed the inheritors. 10 who shall inherit Paradise therein dwelling forever. 11 We have created the human being from an extract of clay 12 Then We placed him as a sperm-drop in a firm lodging. 13 then We made this drop into a clot, then We made the clot into a lump, then We made the lump into bones, then We clothed the bones with flesh, and then We caused it to grow into another creation. Thus Most Blessed is Allah, the Best of all those that create. 14 And then you will certainly die, 15 Again, on the Day of Judgment, will ye be raised up. 16 We have created seven ways above you; of Our creation, We are never inattentive. 17 We send down water from the sky in determined measure, and store it up in the earth; and We have power to drain it away. 18 With it, We produced for you gardens of palms and vines, yielding abundant fruit for you to eat. 19 And We also produced the tree which springs forth from Mount Sinai, containing oil and sauce for those that eat. 20 There are lessons for you in the cattle from whose bellies We give you milk to drink, and there are other advantages that you derive from them, and some of them you eat; 21 And you are carried on them and on the ship. 22
