The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ THE TRUE BELIEVERS will be successful, 1 who are humble in their prayers; 2 And those who turn away from Al-Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk, falsehood, and all that Allah has forbidden). 3 pay their religious tax 4 And those who of their private parts are guards. 5 Except before their mates or those whom their right hands possess, for they surely are not blameable, 6 But those who covet more than this will be transgressors; 7 those who are true to their trust, 8 And who (strictly) guard their prayers;- 9 They are the inheritors. 10 These are the heirs of Paradise wherein they will live forever. 11 And certainly did We create man from an extract of clay. 12 Thereafter We made him (the offspring of Adam) as a Nutfah (mixed drops of the male and female sexual discharge) (and lodged it) in a safe lodging (womb of the woman). 13 Then We fashioned the sperm into an embryo, then fashioned the embryo into a shapeless lump of flesh; then from the lump of flesh We fashioned bones, then clothed the bones with flesh. Thus We formed him into a new creation. So blessed be God the best of Creators. 14 After that, surely, you will die. 15 and you will be brought back to life again on the Day of Resurrection. 16 And We have created above you seven paths, and We are never unmindful of creation. 17 And We sent down out of heaven water in measure and lodged it in the earth; and We are able to take it away. 18 Then We cause to grow thereby gardens of palm trees and grapes for you; you have in them many fruits and from them do you eat; 19 And a tree that springeth forth from Mount Sinai that groweth oil and relish for the eaters. 20 And behold, in the cattle [too] there is indeed a lesson for you: We give you to drink of that [milk] which is within their bellies; and you derive many [other] uses from them: for, you eat of their flesh, 21 and you ride on them as you do in ships. 22
