Al-Mu' minoon 3 of 6
The unbelieving assembly of his nation, who belied the encounter of the Everlasting Life, and on whom We had bestowed ease in this life, said: 'This is but a human like yourselves; he eats of what you eat and drinks of what you drink. 33 “If you were to obey a human like yourselves, then surely you are losers!” 34 “Does he promise you that when you die and turn into dust and bones, you will be raised again?” 35 ۞ Begone, begone, with that which ye are promised! 36 There is only the life of this world: We die and we live: there is no rising from the dead for us. 37 He is naught but a man who has forged a lie against Allah, and we are not going to believe in him. 38 He said: my Lord! vindicate for they belie me. 39 He said: In a little while they surely will become repentant. 40 So the true Scream seized them – We therefore made them like rotten hay; so away with the unjust people! 41 Then, after them, We created other generations. 42 no nation outstrips its term, nor do they put it back. 43 We then sent our Noble Messengers, one after another; whenever a nation’s Noble Messenger came to it they denied him, We therefore united the succeeding with the old, and made them history; so far removed be the people who do not believe! 44 Then We sent Moses and his brother Aaron with Our signs and clear authority 45 To Pharaoh and his establishment, but they were arrogant and were a haughty people. 46 They said, "Should we believe two men like ourselves while their people are for us in servitude?" 47 Then they belied the twain; so they became of those who were destroyed. 48 And We gave Moses the Book, in order that they might be guided. 49 And We made the son of Mary and his mother a sign and sheltered them within a high ground having level [areas] and flowing water. 50

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
