Al-Mu' minoon 3 of 6
And the chiefs of his people, who disbelieved and denied the Meeting in the Hereafter, and to whom We had given the luxuries and comforts of this life, said: "He is no more than a human being like you, he eats of that which you eat, and drinks of what you drink. 33 and, indeed, if you pay heed to a mortal like yourselves, you will surely be the losers! 34 Promiseth he unto you that ye, when ye have died and have become dust and bones, ye are to be brought forth? 35 ۞ What you are promised is indeed far-fetched. 36 There is nought but our life of the world; we die and we live, and we are not going to be raised up. 37 He is but a man who hath fabricated against God a lie, and in him we are not going to be believers. 38 The messenger said, "My Lord, help me, for they have rejected me." 39 God replied, "After a very short time they will certainly regret for their deeds." 40 So the punishment overtook them in justice, and We made them as rubbish; so away with the unjust people. 41 Then We raised after them other generations. 42 No people can hasten their term, nor can they delay (it). 43 We sent Our messengers one after the other but whenever a Messenger would come to a nation, its people would call him a liar and We would destroy one nation after the other, thus, only their stories were left behind them. God keeps the unbelievers far away from His Mercy. 44 Then We sent Moses and his brother Aaron, with Our Signs and authority manifest, 45 to the Pharaoh and his nobles. But they behaved proudly and thought themselves superior people. 46 They said, "Are we to believe in two human beings like ourselves, while their people are subject to us?" 47 So they rejected them and became of those who were destroyed. 48 And We gave Moses the Book, in order that they might receive guidance. 49 And We made the son of Maryam (Mary) and his mother as a sign, And We gave them refuge on high ground, a place of rest, security and flowing streams. 50

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
