Al-Mu' minoon 4 of 6
O YOU APOSTLES! Partake of the good things of life, and do righteous deeds: verily, I have full knowledge of all that you do. 51 And verily! This your religion (of Islamic Monotheism) is one religion, and I am your Lord, so keep your duty to Me. 52 But they cut off their religion among themselves into sects, each part rejoicing in that which is with them. 53 But leave them alone, lost in their ignorance, until a [future] time. 54 Think they that in the wealth and sons wherewith We provide them 55 We are hastening them on to good things? Aye! they perceive not. 56 Verily! Those who live in awe for fear of their Lord; 57 who believe in the revelations of their Lord, 58 And those who do not ascribe any partner to their Lord – 59 And those who give whatsoever they give, while their hearts are anxious that unto their Lord they are to be returners. 60 it is they who vie with one another in doing good works, and it is they who outrun [all others] in attaining to them! 61 And [withal.] We do not burden any human being with more than he is well able to bear: for with Us is a record that speaks the truth [about what men do and can do]; and none shall be wronged. 62 Nay, their hearts are lost in ignorance of all this; and their deeds too vary from the way (mentioned above). They will persist in these deeds 63 But then when We seize the affluent among them, they will cry out for help. 64 (It will be said): "Groan not in supplication this day: for ye shall certainly not be helped by Us. 65 “My verses were recited to you, so you used to turn back on your heels.” 66 In arrogance regarding it, conversing by night, speaking evil. 67 Do they not ponder over the Word (of Allah), or has anything (new) come to them that did not come to their fathers of old? 68 Or is it that they were unaware of their Messenger and were therefore repelled by him for he was a stranger to them? 69 Or do they say: "There is madness in him"? Nay, he has brought them the truth - and the truth do most of them detest! 70 Had the truth followed their desires, the heavens and the earth and all that is in them would have been destroyed. We sent them the Quran but they ignored it. 71 Or do you ask of them any tribute? In that case the tribute of your Lord is better, for He is the best of providers. 72 And most surely you invite them to a right way. 73 but, behold, those who will not believe in the life to come are bound to deviate from that way. 74 ۞ If We had mercy on them and removed the distress which is on them, they would obstinately persist in their transgression, wandering in distraction to and fro. 75 We seized them with the punishment, but they did not surrender to their Lord, nor will they humble themselves 76 So that when at last We open up the gate of severe punishment on them they will be overwhelmed with despair. 77

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
