O (you) Messengers! Eat of the Taiyibat [all kinds of Halal (legal) foods which Allah has made legal (meat of slaughtered eatable animals, milk products, fats, vegetables, fruits, etc.)], and do righteous deeds. Verily! I am Well-Acquainted with what you do. 51 And verily! This your religion (of Islamic Monotheism) is one religion, and I am your Lord, so keep your duty to Me. 52 Yet they divided themselves into factions, each rejoicing in what they had. 53 Therefore leave them in their overwhelming ignorance till 54 Do they think that what We extend to them of wealth and children 55 We hasten in good works for them? No, they are not aware. 56 Indeed those who are overwhelmed due to the fear of their Lord – 57 who believe in the verses of their Lord; 58 And those who ascribe not partners unto their Lord, 59 and who give whatever they [have to] give with their hearts trembling at the thought that unto their Sustainer they must return: 60 it is they who vie with one another in doing good works and shall be the foremost in doing so. 61 We charge no soul with more than it can bear. We have a Book with Us which speaks the truth, and they shall not be wronged. 62 Nay, but their hearts are in perplexity as to this, and they have deeds besides that that they are doing. 63 Until when We seize their affluent ones with punishment, at once they are crying [to Allah] for help. 64 (We shall say): 'Do not groan today, surely you shall receive no help from Us' 65 Indeed My Verses used to be recited to you, but you used to turn back on your heels (denying them, and with hatred to listen to them). 66 Insolently, treating them like tales told at night." 67 Was it that you did not give any thought to it (the Quran)? Was it different from what was revealed to your fathers? 68 Or did they not know their Messenger, so they are toward him disacknowledging? 69 Or do they say: "There is madness in him"? Nay, he has brought them the truth - and the truth do most of them detest! 70 If the Truth had been in accord with their desires, truly the heavens and the earth, and all beings therein would have been in confusion and corruption! Nay, We have sent them their admonition, but they turn away from their admonition. 71 Do you (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) ask any fee from them? So the reward of your Lord is the best; and He is the Best Provider of Sustenance. 72 And most surely you invite them to a right way. 73 But those who believe not in the Hereafter turn away from the straight path. 74 ۞ And even were We to show them mercy and remove whatever distress might befall them [in this life,] they would still persist in their overweening arrogance, blindly stumbling to and fro. 75 Already have We grasped them with punishment, but they humble not themselves unto their Lord, nor do they pray, 76 Until We open on them a gate leading to a severe Punishment: then Lo! they will be plunged in despair therein! 77
