O Ye apostles! eat the good things and work righteously; verily of that which ye work I am the Knower. 51 And surely this your religion is one religion and I am your Lord, therefore be careful (of your duty) to Me. 52 But they split in their affair between them into sects, each party rejoicing in what is with them. 53 But leave them in their confused ignorance for a time. 54 Do they think that We are helping them by giving them children and property? 55 We are hastening to reward them for good deeds? No. They do not comprehend. 56 Those who tremble in fear of their Lord, 57 And those who believe in the revelations of their Lord, 58 And those who do not associate (aught) with their Lord, 59 and those who give what they give, their hearts quaking that they are returning to their Lord -- 60 It is those who hasten to good deeds, and they outstrip [others] therein. 61 We charge no soul with more than it can bear. We have a record which clearly shows the truth and they will not be wronged. 62 Nay, but their hearts are covered (blind) from understanding this (the Quran), and they have other (evil) deeds, besides, which they are doing. 63 Until, when We grasp those of them who lead a luxurious life with punishment, behold! They make humble invocation with a loud voice. 64 "Put a stop to your groaning now! Surely no help shall be provided to you from Us. 65 Our revelations had certainly been recited to you, but you turned your backs to them 66 "In arrogance: talking nonsense about the (Qur'an), like one telling fables by night." 67 Have they not pondered the saying, or came there upon them that which came not upon their fathers, the ancients? 68 Or did they not know their Messenger, so they are toward him disacknowledging? 69 or you said that he is possessed by satan? In fact, he has brought you the truth, but most of you dislike it. 70 Had the truth followed their desires, the heavens and the earth and all that is in them would have been destroyed. We sent them the Quran but they ignored it. 71 Or is it that thou askest them for some recompense? But the recompense of thy Lord is best: He is the Best of those who give sustenance. 72 And certainly, you (O Muhammad SAW) call them to a Straight Path (true religion Islamic Monotheism). 73 and surely they that believe not in the world to come are deviating from the path. 74 ۞ And if We show mercy to them and remove the distress they have, they would persist in their inordinacy, blindly wandering on. 75 We had seized them with the punishment, but they did not bow before their Lord nor turned to Him in humility, 76 Until when We open upon them a door of severe chastisement, lo! they are in despair at it. 77
