1/2 Hizb 35

O ye messengers! Eat of the good things, and do right. Lo! I am Aware of what ye do. 51 This community of yours is one community, and I am your Lord; so hold Me alone in fear. 52 But then they divided up their order into different creeds, each section rejoicing in what it had come to have. 53 So leave them in their error for a time. 54 Do they think that in giving them wealth and children 55 We [but want to] make them vie with one another in doing [what they consider] good works? Nay, but they do not perceive [their error]! 56 Surely they who from fear of their Lord are cautious, 57 And those who in the signs of their Lord do believe. 58 And those who with their Lord associate not anyone. 59 And they who give what they give while their hearts are fearful because they will be returning to their Lord - 60 It is these who hasten in every good work, and these who are foremost in them. 61 We charge no soul with more than it can bear. We have a record which clearly shows the truth and they will not be wronged. 62 Nay, their hearts are lost in ignorance of all this; and their deeds too vary from the way (mentioned above). They will persist in these deeds 63 Until when We lay hold of the luxuriant ones of them with the torment, and lo! then they are imploring! 64 (We shall say): 'Do not groan today, surely you shall receive no help from Us' 65 “My verses were recited to you, so you used to turn back on your heels.” 66 "In arrogance: talking nonsense about the (Qur'an), like one telling fables by night." 67 Have they not pondered the Word, or hath that come unto them which came not unto their fathers of old? 68 Or is it that they were unaware of their Messenger and were therefore repelled by him for he was a stranger to them? 69 Or do they say: There is madness in him? Nay! he has brought them the truth, and most of them are averse from the truth. 70 And had the Truth followed their desires, then indeed the heavens and the earth and all those who are in them would be destroyed; in fact We brought to them a thing in which lay their repute, so they are turned away from their own repute. 71 Or dost thou ask of them (O Muhammad) any tribute? But the bounty of thy Lord is better, for He is Best of all who make provision. 72 (Muhammad), you certainly have called them to the right path, 73 but those who disbelieve the life hereafter deviate from the right path. 74 ۞ And though We have mercy on them We may remove whatsoever of hurt is with them, surely they would persist in their exorbitance, wandering perplexed. 75 (They are such) that We seized them with chastisement (and yet) they did not humble themselves before their Lord, nor do they entreat 76 until We opened the gate of greater torment (death) and they suddenly found themselves in despair. 77
