It is He who gave you ears, eyes and hearts, yet how seldom you are grateful! 78 And it is He who has multiplied you throughout the earth, and to Him you will be gathered. 79 It is He Who gives life and death, and to Him (is due) the alternation of Night and Day: will ye not then understand? 80 But they say the same as the ancients said, 81 They said, 'What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we be indeed raised up? 82 We and our fathers have been promised this before. It is but of the ancients' fictitious tales' 83 Say: "Whose is the earth and whosoever is therein? If you know!" 84 They will say, "To Allah." Say, "Then will you not remember?" 85 Say thou: who is Lord of the seven heavens and Lord of the mighty throne? 86 [And] they will reply: "[All this power belongs] to God." Say: "Will you not, then, remain conscious of Him?" 87 Say: "Whose is the sovereignty over all things, who protects, and against whom there is no protection? {Answer) if you have knowledge." 88 They will surely say: "(The dominion over all things) belongs to Allah." Say: "Whence are you then deluded?" 89 Nay, We have conveyed unto them the truth: and yet, behold, they are intent on lying [to themselves]! 90 God has not taken to Himself a son, nor is there any other deity besides Him; otherwise, each god would have walked away with what he had created. They would surely have tried to overcome one another. Glory be to God, above all that they ascribe to Him. 91 He has the knowledge of all seen and unseen things. He is too exalted to be considered equal to anything else. 92

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
