And it is He who produced for you hearing and vision and hearts; little are you grateful. 78 It was He who scattered you on the earth, and before Him you shall be gathered. 79 It is He Who gives life and causes death, and He holds mastery over the alternation of night and day. Do you not understand this? 80 And talk as did the people of old. 81 They said, "When we have died and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected? 82 We and our fathers have been promised this before. It is but of the ancients' fictitious tales' 83 Say, "To whom do the earth and all therein belong? Tell me, if you have any knowledge?" 84 Thereupon they will say, “To Allah”; proclaim, “Therefore why do you not ponder?” 85 Ask them: "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, the Lord of the Great Throne?" 86 They will surely say: "Allah." Say: "Will you not, then, fear (Allah)?" 87 Say thou: in whose hands is the governance of everything, and who sheltereth but from whom none is sheltered, if ye know? 88 [And] they will reply: "[All this power belongs] to God." Say: 'How, then, can you be so deluded?" 89 Aye! We have brought them the truth and verily they are the liars. 90 Never did Allah take unto Himself any son, nor is there any god other than He. (Had there been any other gods) each god would have taken his creatures away with him, and each would have rushed to overpower the other. Glory be to Allah from all that they characterize Him with! 91 He knows what is hidden and what is open: too high is He for the partners they attribute to Him! 92
