He it is Who hath created for you ears and eyes and hearts. Small thanks give ye! 78 It is He who scattered you in the earth, and to Him you shall be mustered. 79 And He it is who grants life and deals death; and to Him is due the alternation of night and day. Will you not, then, use your reason? 80 On the contrary, they said the same as what the former people used to say. 81 They said, "When we have died and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected? 82 We and our fathers have been promised this before; this is naught but the fairy-tales of the ancients.' 83 Say: 'Whose is the earth, and whoso is in it, if you have knowledge?' 84 They will say, God's.' Say: 'Will you not then remember?' 85 Say: Who is the Lord of the seven heavens and the Lord of the mighty dominion? 86 They will say, "[They belong] to Allah." Say, "Then will you not fear Him?" 87 Ask them, "If you have any knowledge, in whose hands is the ownership of all things? Who is the one who gives protection and yet He Himself is never protected?" 88 They will surely say: "(The dominion over all things) belongs to Allah." Say: "Whence are you then deluded?" 89 We have sent them the Truth: but they indeed practise falsehood! 90 Allah has not chosen any child, nor any other God along with Him – were it so, each God would have taken away its creation, and each one would certainly wish superiority over the other; Purity is to Allah above all the matters they fabricate. 91 The Knower of the unseen and the seen, so may He be exalted above what they associate (with Him). 92
