It is God who has created ears, eyes, and hearts for you. Little are the thanks that you give. 78 And it is He Who has spread you in the earth, and towards Him you are to be raised. 79 It is He who gives you life and death, and His the alternation of night and day. Even then you do not understand, 80 Nay, but they said the like of what the ancients said. 81 They said, "When we have died and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected? 82 "Verily, this we have been promised, we and our fathers before (us)! This is only the tales of the ancients!" 83 (Muhammad), say to them, "Tell me, if you know, to whom does the earth and its contents belong?" 84 They will say, "To Allah!" say: "Yet will ye not receive admonition?" 85 Say, “Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and the Lord of the Tremendous Throne?” 86 Thereupon they will say, “Such greatness is only that of Allah”; say, “So why do you not fear?” 87 Ask them, "If you have any knowledge, in whose hands is the ownership of all things? Who is the one who gives protection and yet He Himself is never protected?" 88 They will surely say: God's. Say thou: how then are ye turned away? 89 Nay, We have conveyed unto them the truth: and yet, behold, they are intent on lying [to themselves]! 90 God has never given birth to a son and there is no other god besides Him. If there were, each god would have taken away his creatures and claimed superiority over the others. God is too exalted to be as they believe Him to be. 91 [He is] Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, so high is He above what they associate [with Him]. 92
