And it is He Who has created ears and eyes and hearts for you; very little is the right you acknowledge. 78 And it is He Who has created you on the earth, and to Him you shall be gathered back. 79 He is the One who gives life and causes death and He controls the alternation of night and day. Will you not then understand? 80 Rather, they say like what the former peoples said. 81 They say: "When we are dead and turned to dust and bones, shall we be raised to life again? 82 Assuredly this we have been promised - we and our fathers - aforetime: naught is this but the fables of the ancients. 83 Say: "To whom does the earth and whosoever is upon it then belong, if you know?" 84 They will say: Allah's. Say: Will you not then mind? 85 Say: "Who is (the) Lord of the seven heavens, and (the) Lord of the Great Throne?" 86 They will say: (This is) Allah's. Say: Will you not then guard (against evil)? 87 Say: "In whose hand rests the mighty dominion over all things, and who is it that protects, the while there is no protection against Him? [Tell me this] if you happen to know [the answer]!" 88 They will say: "God's." Say: "Then why are you so deluded?" 89 We have brought before them the Truth, and there is no doubt that they are lying. 90 Never did Allah take to Himself a son, and never was there with him any (other) god-- in that case would each god have certainly taken away what he created, and some of them would certainly have overpowered others; glory be to Allah above what they describe! 91 The Knower of the unseen and the seen, so may He be exalted above what they associate (with Him). 92
